Cynny Browser Privacy Policy

Cynny, Inc. (“Cynny”) is committed to maintaining the privacy and security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy applies to viewers of Cynny Morphcast (“Viewers”) on any browser (a “Browser”) which is used to view available Cynny Morphcast services (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains Cynny’s privacy practices with respect to Viewers, and applies solely to the Browser. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the privacy practices of the Cynny mobile application that is used to create Morphcasts, which are described in a separate privacy policy provided in conjunction with download of the app.

Acceptance of Privacy Policy

By viewing the Morphcast in your Browser, you signify your acceptance of the relevant provisions of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of changes to these terms will mean that you accept those changes.

Personal Information We Collect Automatically and Store Locally in Your Device

You may view a Morphcast in one of two modes: one that involves the use of facial recognition software and one that does not. When using the Browser, Viewers may choose their preferred viewing mode.

Our technology includes facial recognition software that collects information about your face movement, expressions and reactions as you view a Morphcast video using the camera of your smart phone or tablet. This facial recognition data is stored in the Browser on your device but is not shared with Cynny. You can manage the data created by facial recognition software and delete the data stored in the Browser by clicking the button provided by Cynny.

You must use a Browser to play a Morphcast video. Based upon machine-learning techniques and the personal information that you provide, the Browser collects personal information regarding your preferences in viewing Morphcasts and uses that information to vary the music, video focus and effects, and viewing speed of a Morphcast. This personal information is stored only in the Browser on your computer or phone, and is not shared with Cynny or anyone else.

Cookies and Web Beacons

Cynny does not use cookies or web beacons to automatically collect your personal information when you use the Services.

Use and Disclosure of Personal Information

Because the personal information that is stored in the Browser is not shared with Cynny, Cynny does not collect, use or disclose your personal information when you use the Browser.

Referrals/Links

The Services may contain links to third-party websites that may offer information of interest. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those websites, and Cynny recommends reviewing those websites’ privacy policies individually.

Security

Although Cynny does not maintain on its systems any personal information collected by the Browser, Cynny understands that storing your data in a secure manner is essential. Cynny stores personal information and other data only locally in your device using industry standard physical, technical and administrative safeguards to secure data against foreseeable risks, such as unauthorized use, access, disclosure, destruction or modification. Please note, however, that while Cynny has endeavored to create secure and reliable Services for Viewers, the confidentiality of any communication or material transmitted via e-mail cannot be guaranteed.

Response to “Do Not Track” Signals

Some Internet browsers include the ability to transmit “Do Not Track” signals. Since uniform standards for “Do Not Track” signals have not yet been adopted, Cynny does not process or respond to “Do Not Track” signals. In any event, Cynny does not track a User’s user of the Browser or the Services through cookies, web beacons or other means.

Children's Privacy Protection

Cynny understands the importance of protecting children's privacy in the interactive online world. The Services are not designed for, or intentionally targeted at, children under 13 years of age. It is not our policy to intentionally collect or maintain information about anyone under the age of 13. In fact, Cynny does not receive any personal information that is collected through the Browser.
