MorphCast has resumed the availability of its products within the European Union while continuously monitoring the evolving regulatory framework under the EU AI Act.
The legal framework applicable to emotion recognition systems remains subject to ongoing regulatory developments, including recently proposed amendments to the implementation timeline for certain high risk AI obligations and the publication of additional guidance by European authorities.
MorphCast is actively monitoring these developments and regularly reassessing its compliance strategy.
Customers remain responsible for ensuring that their specific use of MorphCast products complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including the EU AI Act, GDPR, employment laws, consumer protection laws, and any other applicable national requirements.
MorphCast prohibits any use of its products for purposes prohibited under applicable law, including uses expressly prohibited by the EU AI Act.
MorphCast may update product features, technical safeguards, documentation, terms of use, and territorial availability as regulatory requirements evolve.
MorphCast’s core Emotion AI technology was already placed on the market before the entry into force of the EU AI Act and has remained substantially unchanged since that time. The underlying AI model has not undergone retraining, material architectural modifications, or changes to its intended functionality. Subsequent releases have primarily consisted of bug fixes, integrations, infrastructure updates, security improvements, and product-level enhancements.
MorphCast will continue to review its position ahead of any applicable regulatory milestones, including the currently proposed implementation dates for Annex III high risk AI systems.
The information on this page reflects MorphCast’s current understanding of the EU AI Act and related regulatory developments. As the regulatory framework continues to evolve, interpretations and compliance expectations may change.
MorphCast continuously monitors these developments and may update this page accordingly.
